My Bum isn't Big

1. My bum appears big on initial inspection
2. But that's an effect of Mercator projection.
3. It's prone to exaggerate certain dimensions,
4. Which causes unfortunate misapprehensions.
   
   
5. Like Russia and Canada, both appear skewed
6. Whenever a map of their borders is viewed,
7. While Congo, Uganda and Kenya seem small -
8. When seen in the flesh they're not little at all.
   
   
9. It's all an illusion by Gerard Mercator
10. That's caused by the magnitude from the equator.
11. My bum isn't big when it's properly viewed -
12. It just appears so at this high latitude.
